• Jessica & Justin: Wedding Day

    Jessica & Justin: Wedding photos

Love eyes. It made my job easy as these two would not stop smiling. They were so happy for this day to come, and their sense of joy was on display as they said I do.  The rest of the day was a huge celebration, and there were so many sweet moments.

  • Country Chevorlet – TV Commercial

This TV commercial, which is also airing in local theaters, was a fun project to edit. My friend Ben Cordy, owner of Annex Room Media in VA hired me to edit this commercial. This little puppy broke my record for how many hours I spent on a 25 second video. I also edited a 50 second web version.

Regardless of the project, subject or client I enjoy what I do, but this project really was fun.

Special thanks to Map Drones in VA for all of the ariel footage.

  • Kisa & Kevin : Married

    Kisa & Kevin.

This wedding was an honor to capture. Every moment was sincere and intimate. With only immediate family members other than then the officiant and myself, this was truly a day centered around love and commitment.

It was extra special for me to capture this wedding, as Kisa is my cousin.

    Congratulations Kevin and Kisa!

  • Leah & Ean

Leah and Ean are deep, honest, and genuine, and their wedding was one of the most fun filled weddings I can remember. They were married at Taber Ranch on a perfect fall day surrounded by beautiful vineyards. It was an honor to capture their wedding.

  • Mc Way Falls

I can’t get over it. Where the forest reaches to the edge of the rocky cliff and spills into the turquoise sea

smooth sand, and looks over turquoise water into the Pacific.

So, I have been here five or ten times… and every time I am still struck by its beauty. I have countless photos.

I spent $40 on slide film on my first visit back in 2002. For a guy who would “splurge” on a Tacobell burrito once a month that was a huge statement. I now have images of these falls on many rolls of film, and many folders on hard drives. Mornings, afternoons, sunsets, blue hour. I even have 2 large prints on canvas in my house, yet there is no way I imagine I would ever get tired of this scene.

So, if you know me I’m sorry. I will continue to post photos of the same thing.

  • Misty & Dennis // Wedding Vignette

It was a gorgeous day on rocky cliffs of the Big Sur Coast in California, where Misty and Dennis said “I do”.

The reception was at the stunningly beautiful Hyatt Highlands in Carmel, which was the perfect venue for this perfect day.

I must say that this was the first time I have seen a reception include the worm, double Dutch, a “Beer Monster” and the limbo in one wedding… So, it was packed with fun!

    Congratulations Misty and Dennis!

  • Sarah and Scott // Married

It was an incredible day, and it was not just the warm California sun that I craved due to spending the summer in Alaska, that made this day so nice.

It was Sarah and Scott’s inability to stop showing their excitement, and emotion,  because they were so in love.

There is nothing more exciting than to see two people very much in love say “I do” so it was a truly beautiful day in so many ways.

Thank you for letting me be a part of your day Sarah, and Scott!

  • Jason and Amy // Engagement Photos

My big brother Jason and his fiancé Amy were so much fun to photograph! It was so easy to capture Joy, and fun, and happiness as they exuded it. The word Happy would sum this bright couple pretty well… and maybe organized too 😉 He is my oldest brother.
